We worked with the FTC to produce an updated "Guide to the Used Car Rule". Together with Attorney Keith Whann, we worked with the IRS to produce a revised "Audit Technique Guide" for the used motor vehicle industry. This document is used by the IRS today in reducing the tax liability of “Buy Here Pay Here” dealers.

National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA): Your membership into NIADA is included when you join OIADA. NIADA has over 19,000 members nationwide. Formed in 1946 to represent independent automobile dealers, NIADA is the voice of the used motor vehicle industry. Members look to NIADA to provide them with solutions and answers that help them operate more successful businesses. Bringing together informational sources and benefits, providing educational opportunities for dealers and their employees, along with a strong legislative presence in Washington, D.C., is NIADA's key focus for its members. Miami Valley Automobile Dealers Association (MVADA): Regional Membership - Optional Fee Applied

For Dealers in the counties listed below, membership is also available in the Miami Valley Automobile Dealers Association (MVADA). The MVADA holds quarterly meetings at various locations in the Miami Valley area. These meetings are designed to keep dealers informed and create and opportunity to network. MVADA also hosts an annual dinner dance, which is attended by dealers from throughout the Cincinnati-Dayton areas. MVADA is also heavily involved in raising funds for the United Cerebral Palsy Association.

The counties are: Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren.

Additionally, your membership in MVADA guarantees your checks with the various Clerks of Court in these counties.
